My name is Onyx and I am a very sweet and affectionate male Terrier mix. I'm almost 4 years old according to my records but I probably seem older because of my calm, chilled out personality. I'm about 50 pounds and I love belly rubs. I might seem a little shy around new people at first but I warm up quickly - especially if there's a treat involved! I am very treat-motivated which has made my training really easy and I'm doing so well. I learned to focus right away and I love to gaze into your eyes. As I've noted before, my affectionate personality really comes through and I enjoy just resting my head in your lap. I get along well with other dogs and adjust quickly to new people and new situations that I've encountered while here in prison. I'm ready to parole so let's meet at our Canon City location soon! My adoption fee is $650 and includes all of my vaccinations, microchip and a lifetime of support for my training.
